Crowning Glory

As far as I can remember, I’ve always had difficult to manage hair.

I think it started when my parents decided that it was better for me to have a crewcut instead on long hair when I was in primary school. After that, it just became a norm for me to go to the barber and tell him to give me a buzz cut.

Even when I got older, I kept a GI flat top because it was easier to manage when I was running and swimming. Then, when I started to get vain and started to grow my hair out, I actually realised that if the stylist didn’t cut my hair properly, it would grow out really awkwardly and be almost impossible to style.

Stylists that are able to handle my hair are hard to come by. When I do find one, I try my very best to hold to him/her. Recently, I found a stylist who could do just that! If you head to Essensuals Bugis, they will find a stylist just for you who will discuss how you would like to have your hair done before destroying your hair even before you can say “Jack Robinson”. Now, they are celebrating their 3rd birthday and will be giving away $8000 worth of prizes as well as goodie bags if you visit them for the entire month of May. Look for Isabel if you’re there…. she’ll look after you (actually your hair la).
