It took about two months to shoot.
A month or so to edit.
And after the first episode yesterday, I am relieved.
Yes, I am talking about Happily Ever After. Jack Neo’s first ever English drama which I had the privilege to be a part of. I had three other co stars who were great and professional in their craft as well as a very solid team of people behind the whole production from the writers, to the directors, to the AD’s, the cameramen, lighting guys, sound guys, grips, makeup artiste and wardrobe people.
At first, there was the anticipation, then as with other productions, I worry. I worry if I did ok, if the lines sounded ok, if I was natural, etc etc. Well, from some of the comments that I have been getting so far, I guess I wasn’t too shabby.
Today was the 2nd episode and there are still 6 more to go…. so here I am, crossing my fingers and toes that all goes well and we (as a whole production) do well.
